Working alongside Gremlin Social’s strategic services team, I build and present social media strategy decks to guide our clients through their own social media content plans. I compile industry expertise covering compliance, trends, best practices, and social media performance. With some clients, I assist in some post creation to give them a handle on what kind of content works for their audience.
Stockman Bank, for example, is one of our clients located in Montana. Their Marketing Manager was new when they signed on with Gremlin Social and had little background in social media. I worked with them to outline what to do to create a social media strategy and write out some content calendars with them. I walked them through the different types of content that work on the different types of social networks. For example, LinkedIn is great for employee engagement.
Being in Montana, our contact at the bank informed us a little about their community and audience. I helped them create a strategy around the unique Montana culture that would help them stand out from their competitors. We then implemented a strategy around sharing bank customer’s photos of the Montana nature as well as showcasing local events and community involvement. This expanded their engagement and follower count.
I also assisted with strategy and creation of Facebook posts for the Carondelet Park Rec Complex as part of my job as Marketing & Community Outreach Coordinator. As the organization is a non-profit and focused a lot around the community and events, most of our strategy reflected that.
I worked on Nine Network’s social media strategy and content alongside the Digital Media Director. I researched strategies, put together a content calendar, managed the content on the Facebook and Twitter pages, replied to and engaged in conversation with the community that commented on our posts.
